Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Warwick is a German bass brand founded in 1982 by Hans-Peter Wilfer.
Currently based in Markneukirchen, Warwick is supported by bassists worldwide for its unique sound and look, utilizing exotic tonewoods and oil finishes.
The Corvette is one of the brand's flagship models.
This particular instrument is a Corvette $$ (double back) with two humbucker pickups, made in Germany in 2009.
Our inspection confirmed that the body has a Swamp Ash back with a Macassar Ebony top, the neck is Ovangkol, and the fingerboard is Macassar Ebony.
The contrast between the varying shades of Macassar Ebony grain and the lighter Ash peeking through the body's edges creates a beautiful look.
The finish is a natural oil finish, allowing you to appreciate the natural texture of the wood.
The pickups are two Bartolini humbuckers.
A mini-switch allows you to switch between parallel, tapped, and series modes for each pickup.
Its appeal lies in its ability to create a wide range of sounds, from thick humbucker tones to those closer to single-coil sounds.
The preamp features an original 2-band EQ, and the volume knob can be pushed/pulled to switch between active and passive modes.
The nut width is a very slim 38.8mm.
The neck is easy to grip, even for those with small hands, and makes playing fast phrases easy.
The bridge is Warwick's unique 2-piece bridge.
This is a quintessential Warwick guitar, combining versatile switching with beautiful tonewoods.
Don't miss this opportunity!
