Description & Condition
Description & Condition
History is an original brand created by Shimamura Music.
As expected from a music store's original brand, it is characterized by its high cost performance.
This model is based on the classic JB bass.
The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a popular combination.
The pickups have been replaced with Aguilar AG 5J, and the preamp with a Bartolini XTCT.
Furthermore, the bridge has been replaced with a Wilkinson WBBC5, and the pickguard and battery box have been replaced with an ESP battery box.
The frets are installed using the familiar CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS uses a fan-shaped fret installation system to create a right-angle angle to the strings, resulting in more accurate scale setting.
The combination of Aguilar and XTCT delivers a punchy, tight low end and a bright, crisp high end—a tone that is distinctly NYC-style.
This guitar offers excellent cost performance while using reliable parts in key areas and boasting a refined finish.
It fully delivers the essence of an active JB bass.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are minor scratches on the body and paintwork.
The electronics are in good condition.
The pickguard has been replaced. The battery box has been replaced with an ESP unit. The pickups have been replaced with Aguilar AG 5J. The preamp has been replaced with a Bartolini XTCT. The bridge has been replaced with a Wilkinson WBBC5.
