Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
The Precision Bass, introduced in 1951 as the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, has been loved by bassists worldwide for over half a century.
This model is a Precision Bass manufactured in 1975.
The volume pot is engraved with "13775〇〇".
The neck end is stamped with "0103-4352".
Based on these characteristics, we have determined that this instrument was manufactured in 1975.
The body is likely made of ash.
The neck and fretboard are made of 1-piece maple.
These are typical 70s specifications.
However, the overall weight is very light at around 4.0 kg.
This is why it also possesses the light and responsive feel of a 1950s model.
The pickups have been replaced with current Fender pickups.
The tone pot and jack have been replaced.
The capacitor is a Circle D.
It appears that the frets and nut have been replaced.
If so, the fretboard surface has likely been repainted.
The current playability is of a high standard.
The sound is appealing, with a powerful, tight low end and bright attack characteristic of the 70s.
This is a guitar well-suited for live performance.
Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show scratches and dents. There is a large paint crack on the back of the body. Additional screw holes for the bridge cover have been added.
The electronics are in good condition.
The tone pot and jack have been replaced. The pickups have been replaced with current Fender pickups. It has likely been refretted and had the nut replaced. One control knob has been replaced.
