The body top is made of ash, and the back is made of mahogany.

The pickup layout is a PB-type split-coil plus a JB-type single-coil.

These are named the Marcus Super-PJ Revolution Set Pickup set and Marcus Heritage-3 (No-Mid Frequency).

The controls consist of volume, tone, balance, treble, middle, and bass (push-pull active/passive switching).

While models like the P7 used a middle frequency, this model has simpler controls.

In that respect, it could be considered a more classic active bass.

Furthermore, by fixing the middle frequency range, the manufacturer has designed the overall sound with a more intentional purpose.

This is something that only Sire, with its accumulated knowledge from numerous products, can achieve.

The sound is well-balanced from low to high frequencies, and is characterized by a crisp tone.

Even those who regularly play JB basses should find it satisfying.
