Description & Condition
Description & Condition
While Gibson has an overwhelming presence in guitars, there are actually many cool models in basses as well.
This model is a bass version of the iconic Les Paul.
This is the first Les Paul-based model and is very popular.
The body is all mahogany.
The neck is also constructed of mahogany, and the fingerboard is probably Hakaranda.
The pickups are unique low-impedance type.
The pickups have a unique low-impedance type, and together with a switch that can switch between three tone levels and a phase switch, a wide variety of sounds can be enjoyed.
The scale is a short scale of 30.5 inches.
The short scale produces a fat, overtone-rich sound, which we think is very attractive.
The remaining frets are approximately 50%.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck itself is in good condition.
There is some fret wear and floating, so if you want to get a good condition, please contact us for a repair.
The condition of the body and painted surfaces are scattered with scratches, dents, and dulling of parts.
There are also weather checks throughout.
The volume pot knob has been replaced with a more recent one.
Some screws have been replaced.
The bridge cover and mute control are missing.
