EDEN also cooperated in the production and development of brands such as Ampeg and SWR, and their products were developed while making use of such experience.
This model is The Metro, a full-fledged bass combo amp with vacuum tubes.
It has two channels, which can be switched depending on the situation, which is a very nice feature for musicians who often play live.
Channel 1 has a solid state modern sound, while channel 2 has a tube-based vintage sound.
Channel 2 has a five-band EQ, with the centre frequencies of Low, Mid and High in the middle range set to the desired centre frequency.
It also has an Enhance and Compressor for very detailed sound creation.
Channel 1 has a three-band EQ.
The sound is characterised by the EDEN-like speed of response, wide range and rich overtones.
It's a heavy amp, but that's why it has a punch and strength. Lovely.
Manufactured in 1998, but no dirt is visible for that.
There are no problems with operation. The overall condition is sufficiently beautiful.
Channel 2 is a little noisier than channel 1, but we have determined that this is just a characteristic and not a fault. (We hope you also understand that this is a subjective judgement made by us, the seller of the product.)
