Sadly, Real Bossa Design is rarely manufactured today.
Many national and international musicians, including Nate Watts, have used the brand's basses.

There are several attractive models in the line-up, but this one is the UJB model, which retains a great deal of JB character.

From the looks of it, we can determine that the body is alder and the fingerboard is ebony.

The neck is in good condition, very playable and smooth.
This is a great point unique to this brand.

The characteristic original circuit is powerful and the boost range is somewhat large.
Based on the crisp sound of the JB, with a slight fat sound.

Recommended.

The frets are approximately 80% full.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works at about 90°.
Neck is in good condition.

There are scattered dents of 1-3 mm on the head.
The paint on the head top is cloudy.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with some small dents and scratches.
There is one large ding near the body end where the wood is visible.

The condition of the electrical system is such that there is a momentary loss of sound when switching to active with the mini-switch.
There is no problem when switching to passive.
Other controls are in good condition.

There are some larger scratch marks on the body back, but these are under the paint, so it is expected that it has been refinished or the paint has been re-sprayed over the top in the past.

The battery box was faulty and has been replaced by a GOTOH BB-04 at GIB.
