TUNE is a Japanese bass guitar brand.
It has a long history as a high-end Japanese bass brand, and its Bass Maniac series, in particular, has been popular with many bassists.
This instrument is the TBC-4, a 4-string model of the Bass Maniac Custom.
The body top is made of figured maple, and the back is made of mahogany.
The natural finish highlights the figured grain of the top and the color of the mahogany on the body sides.
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.
The ebony fingerboard is hard, which contributes to a clear and well-defined attack.
The pickups are TUNE's original P/J configuration.
The balancer allows you to adjust the ratio of the thickness of the P-side and the clarity of the J-side to your preference.
The preamp is also a TUNE original, equipped with a 3-band EQ for bass, middle, and treble.
