ATELIER Z is a Japanese bass brand based in Tokyo.
It is a leading name in high-end Japanese-made basses, highly trusted by professional artists, and has maintained a high reputation for many years.
The Beta series is the brand's standard model based on the JB style.
This is the Beta-4/deluxe Custom, equipped with an active unit.
The body is made of ash 2P, and the neck and fingerboard are maple.
It features a powerful and clear sound, combining the bright, clear tone of ash with the attack of a maple fingerboard.
The neck incorporates a KTS titanium neck reinforcement bar, providing high rigidity and stability.
It is equipped with two ATELIER Z JZ-4 pickups.
The preamp is an ATELIER Z EQ-Z, featuring a 3-band EQ with middle, treble, and bass controls.
In passive mode, the high frequencies can be adjusted with the master tone control, while in active mode, the EQ-Z allows for more aggressive sound shaping.
