【new】Sadowsky / CS21 VJ4 Alder Candy Apple Red Japan Limited 3.740kg #H000396-26【GIB Yokohama】

Sadowsky is a brand founded in New York in 1979 by Roger Sadowsky.

As a repairman, he worked on instruments for top session musicians in New York, and the basses born from that experience are highly regarded as one of the perfect forms of the modern JB.

Currently, the brand collaborates with Warwick in Germany, and production takes place in their German workshop.

While the brand offers several lines at different price points, this is the top-of-the-line Custom Shop model.

It lives up to its name with its superb quality.

This is a limited production model, with only 10 units imported into Japan.

While following the style of the brand's VJ5, it incorporates several practical updates.

The body is made of alder.

The color is Candy Apple Red, and the headstock is a matching color to the body.

The neck is made of roasted maple, and the fingerboard is made of Morado.

Roasted maple is a material whose moisture content is removed through a roasting process, increasing its stability.

It has 21 frets.

The nut is a Just-A-Nut III.

The pickups are two Sadowsky original hum-canceling J-type pickups.

They offer the clear, articulate tone characteristic of single-coil pickups while minimizing noise.

The preamp is a Sadowsky signature active 2-band (bass and treble boost) combined with a Vintage Tone Control (VTC).

The VTC is a control that allows you to reduce the high frequencies like a passive tone control, and it can also be used passively by bypassing the preamp with a push-pull switch.

From the bright, punchy sound of an active amp to a thick, vintage-like sound, this single guitar can handle a wide range of tones.

The bridge is a Sadowsky, and the tuners are lightweight Sadowsky Light Open Gear.

This is a guitar that lets you enjoy the highly refined JB sound characteristic of Sadowsky, with specifications unique to the Custom Shop.

Please try it out at GIB.
