【new】HEX Guitars / RB100R S/VC

HEX Guitars is a South Korea-based brand specializing in entry-level to mid-range guitars.

They own their own factory in Indonesia and manufacture their guitars themselves. This sets them apart from brands that typically use OEM manufacturing.

Their passion for production, with the boss himself involved in the process, allows them to produce guitars of a surprisingly high quality for their price point.

The B series features models that blend classic character with modern specifications.

The RB100 is a modern 4-string PJ model.

The body is made of Indonesian Mahogany.

Indonesian Mahogany is highly valued in recent years for its weight and tone, which are well-suited to musical instruments.

The stable supply of such high-quality materials in Indonesia makes it one of the most logical locations for high-quality instrument manufacturing.

The neck is made of Maple.

It features a comfortable, thin C-shaped neck profile and the most common 34-inch scale length.

The fretboard is made of Indian rosewood with a relatively flat 12-inch radius.

The pickups are original HEX® Alnico Single. This is Coil.

They use original pickups in many of their models.

This isn't for cost-cutting, but because they have confidence in the quality of their self-designed pickups.

The staff, who understand music and play it regularly, thoroughly research many elements such as magnets, wires, and bobbins to design them.

What you'll notice when you hold it is its high playability.

It's very easy to play and stress-free.

The sound is characterized by a thick attack typical of PJ style guitars and a full, warm midrange with a rich, sustained feel.

In an ensemble, it provides a strong, solid bottom end with a definite presence.

The basic quality of the neck area is extremely high, resulting in excellent playability, and it's difficult to say that it's inferior to more expensive instruments.

Overall, it's a superb product with high quality in looks, playability, and sound.

For players seeking even greater practicality, we offer electronic upgrade options.

Belden wiring and Switchcraft output jacks are used. #11 is used.

These parts are replaced with highly reliable components that are a global standard, used by top brands such as Fender.

By incorporating these parts, which are also used as standard in GIB's daily repair work, the risk of problems on stage is minimized, and the guitar is refined to be more reliable.
