The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This is a 1972 Jazz Bass.
Each potentiometer is engraved with "304-7205".
Furthermore, the black block inlays and binding are specifications only used on models manufactured between 1972 and 1973.
The year was determined from other specifications.
The body is alder, and the neck and fretboard are maple.
While the combination of ash and maple might come to mind when thinking of the 70s, the combination of alder and maple, with its light midrange, is also wonderful.
The body shows overall signs of use, giving it a vintage feel.
