Vincita is an original brand produced by KIKUTANI MUSIC, a major musical instrument trading company.

Based at their own factory in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, they create modern instruments incorporating years of accumulated expertise.

This instrument is a 2026 limited edition model of the Versatilita, a 4-string bass produced as the brand's first product.

The eye-catching color is solid Celeste, meaning sky blue in Italian.

In addition to a matching headstock, a clear pickguard is used to maximize the beauty of the color, creating a refined and unified look down to the smallest detail.

The body is made of alder.

Designed in a slightly smaller dinky shape, it is exceptionally easy to handle.

The pickguard is also made thicker, making it less likely for fingers to get caught when slapping, which is another attractive feature.

The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

It has a relatively slim and easy-to-grip neck shape.

The neck plate is made of 3.0mm thick titanium.

Vintage guitars and vintage replicas typically have neck plates around 1.5mm thick, so this is considerably thicker.

This results in a tight and speedy response.

Also, because of its thickness, it is recessed into the body, making it comfortable to play.

The pickups are the original "Presto JB set."

Designed with compatibility with the preamp in mind, it has a vintage-like nuance in passive mode and outputs a strong, aggressive sound in active mode.

The preamp is the "tsukuyomi," based on the bass preamp from the Japanese effects pedal brand "Yuki."

A key feature is that it switches to active mode by pulling up the tone knob, and the sound character changes distinctly.

While based on a passive sound, the ability to shape the sound with the "feeling of turning on a foot pedal effect" is an innovative approach unique to an effects pedal brand.

The overall sound is characterized by a wide range and a distinctive, sustained midrange.

Even in passive mode, it has ample treble, providing a crisp, punchy cut when slapping.

When switched to active mode, the midrange is boosted, resulting in a more impactful, punchy sound.

Combining this with the tone control and 2-band EQ allows for a wide range of sound shaping possibilities.

This bass boasts the high level of craftsmanship and reliable sound quality typical of Japanese-made instruments.
