B.C. Rich is a guitar brand founded in the United States in the 1960s.
While they specialize in manufacturing guitars with distinctive looks, often referred to as "unconventional guitars," their actual balance and other characteristics closely resemble traditional guitar styles.
This sense of balance is why they are loved by many musicians, and even today, B.C. Rich guitars and basses are highly valued in creating a wide range of music.
This particular model is a WB-857, manufactured in Japan in the 1990s.
Due to limited official documentation regarding specifications, some details are speculative, but it is believed that the body is made of maple, the neck is made of Super Wood laminate, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.
The pickups are original.
The bridge pickup volume pot and jack have been replaced.
All the bridge saddle screws have been replaced.
This guitar is characterized by its aggressive body shape and punchy, powerful bass sound.
The frets have approximately 60% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90 degrees of movement has been confirmed.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show signs of use, with scattered dents and scratches. There is a paint chip of about 50.0mm on the back of the body, and some minor paint chips are visible on the headstock.
The electronics are in good condition.
The bridge pickup volume pot and jack have been replaced. All bridge saddle screws have been replaced.
