The body is made of North American Alder.

The neck is made of 34-inch scale Hard Maple, and the fingerboard is made of Ebony.

The binding and block inlays give it a vintage feel.

The fingerboard edges are smoothly rounded with an Edgeless finish, making it suitable for players who prefer smooth fingering.

The fingerboard radius is 9.5 inches, in line with modern styles.

Furthermore, the frets are made of stainless steel, offering superior durability and a fast attack.

The pickups are the Marcus Super-J Revolution Pickup set, specially set up for this instrument.

They deliver the rich midrange characteristic of an alder body, along with a tight, clear sound.

The preamp is a Marcus Heritage-3.

The 3-band EQ with a middle frequency allows for detailed sound shaping.

Based on a rich midrange, the sound features tight, low-end tones and sharp, sparkling treble, reminiscent of Marcus Miller's playing style.

It is particularly well-suited for percussive slap techniques and 16th-note fingerstyle playing where attack is important.

This bass is perfect not only for classic styles like Marcus Miller's, but also for styles that want to control the wide range of a 5-string bass and the functionality of an active bass with a practical balance.
