【new】Capurso Guitars / The Spiral Deluxe 522 4.540kg【GIB Yokohama】

Capurso Guitars is a high-end brand based in Italy, manufacturing high-quality, handmade basses.

It's known for being trusted and used by many musicians, including Gabriele Costa and Giacomo Turra. (Titles omitted)

The instruments crafted by builder Andrea Capurso are consistently traditional, experimental, and musical.

He translates brilliant concepts into tangible instruments with solid skill.

The Spiral is a work that builds upon Fender's traditional style while incorporating more modern developments.

This model is a 5-string Spiral Deluxe with a JB-style body.

The body top is made of Poplar Burl wood with a bold grain pattern.

Each instrument has a completely different look due to the unique grain of the wood.

The transparent pickguard doesn't hide the wood grain of the top, which is a nice touch.

The back is made of Mahogany.

The neck and fretboard are made of Maple.

The builder's signature is on the back of the headstock.

It features two J-type pickups.

The controls consist of six knobs and a mini-switch, and the active preamp allows for a wide range of tonal shaping.

The frequencies are 30Hz for bass, 250Hz for midrange, and 10kHz for treble.

The bass control includes sub-band frequencies, and the treble control includes presence components; boosting them results in a high-range and speedy sound.

The midrange is slightly lower at 250Hz.

Rather than using it for cutting, actively pushing it results in a balanced bass sound with a wide range.

In fact, Andrea Capurso, the builder of Capurso Guitars, was heavily involved in the preamp's design.

Since his philosophy is embodied in the design used in his works, the compatibility is naturally excellent.

The playability is extremely light, and the nuanced response to even the slightest touch while still producing a full sound is very impressive.

This guitar beautifully combines the natural beauty of wood with a modern sound, making it a joy to look at and play.
