Steinberger is a modern brand that sparked a revolution with its groundbreaking designs.
They used materials other than wood, adopted a square body design, and created many other things that were different from what had come before.

This is an XL-2TA equipped with a tremolo unit.

The production period is 1980-1990, and the pot dates indicate 1986 or 1987.

Other specifications also indicate that it was made between 1980 and 1990.

The body and neck are made of graphite, which is a very distinctive feature.

This model does not have a truss rod.

The neck currently remains straight.

The pickups are EMG.

This is from the so-called caramel back period.

Controls include master volume, balancer, treble, and bass.
