Description & Condition
HEX Guitars is a Korea-based brand specializing in products in the entry- to mid-range price range.
They have their own factory in Indonesia where they manufacture their products themselves.
This sets them apart from typical OEM brands.
Their passion for guitars is so strong that the boss himself is personally involved in the production process, rather than leaving it to other companies' factories. This allows them to produce guitars of a level of quality that is hard to imagine given the price.
The NB300 is a bass guitar from the newly launched ""NEXT SERIES.""
It features modern and comprehensive specs, including a short 30"" scale length, stainless steel frets, and a laminated neck.
The sophisticated body shape is crafted from Indonesian mahogany.
The neck features a maple and walnut laminate design.
By shaping the neck by gluing together several pieces of wood, the difference between the left and right sides is reduced, resulting in high stability and durability.
The fingerboard is made of Indian laurel with a relatively flat 12-inch radius.
The neck shape is relatively thin, with a slim C-shape.
The frets are made of stainless steel.
Stainless steel is characterized by its anti-tarnish nature and high hardness.
Stainless steel frets are popular because they maintain their shine and are extremely resistant to wear.
They are also used by high-end guitar brands such as Suhr Guitars.
The pickups are original humbucking types.
They use their own original pickups in many of their models.
This is not to cut costs, but because they are confident in the quality of the pickups they design.
Their staff, who know music and play it on a daily basis, have thoroughly researched many elements, including the magnet, wire, and bobbin, to design the instrument.
The balance in the hand is very good, and even regular Fender players will find the HEX NB easy to play.
No special strings are required for headless basses; the same strings as those used on regular basses (Jazz Bass and Precision Bass) can be used.
It has the crisp sound you'd expect from a headless guitar, but it doesn't lose any of the musical overtones or rich bass tones.
The basic quality of the neck is extremely high, making it easy to play, and it's hard to say it's inferior to more expensive instruments.
Overall, it's an excellent product with high quality looks, playability, and sound.
You might be put off by the fact that it's headless, but we encourage you to try playing it for yourself.
You'll be amazed at the high quality.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paint have paint chipping of about 10mm and 7mm on the side of the body. There are also scattered scratches.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
