woofy basses is an original brand of GIB.
The reason we started this brand is because we were asked what bass we recommend while running our store, and we needed a brand that we could recommend with confidence.

Brands like YAMAHA, IBANEZ, BACCHUS, FENDER are great, but since they are not our brands, we have no free control over them. (Some brands we don't even carry)

In this sense, we needed to create a base that we could recommend with confidence from the bottom of our hearts.

First, we participated in business meetings in China, searched for factories where price and quality were compatible, and negotiated directly with them.
After comparing many factories, we succeeded in forming a partnership with a factory with high technology.

We manufacture our products under thorough quality control.

After manufacturing in China, strict quality inspections are conducted multiple times.
Only the best products are imported, adjusted in Japan by professional staff, and inspected again before shipping.

The ONE series lineup is focused on the price range of 50,000 yen or less, which is especially recommended for beginners.
We do not claim that it is the same as high-end basses, but we have planned it in order to provide something safe for “first-time 5-string bass buyers” and “those who are just starting to play bass”.

The Cavalier 5 M is a 5-string JB style model.
It is easy to play, has a powerful sound, and the B-string is also strong.

The most important thing for beginners is high playability (ease of playing).
If this is not ensured, you will not be able to play the phrases you want to play because of the instrument. It is not due to lack of practice, but to the instrument.

This is very important for beginners who cannot distinguish whether they cannot play due to lack of practice or due to the instrument.

The nut, neck warp, string height, and PU height, all of which affect playability, are carefully adjusted one by one in Japan by our expert staff.

Because adjustments are made on the premise that it is a beginner who will be picking up the bass, you can practice with confidence from the moment you receive it.

Whether you are requesting adjustments for a high-end model priced at over 1 million yen, a professional musician, or a woofy basses, we do all the work the same way.
We do not cut costs in terms of labor.

While pursuing cost-effectiveness, we do not compromise on important parts that are directly related to sound and playability.

For example, we use Belden wires for wiring and Switchcraft #11 jacks for plugs.

These are standard in GIB's repair work, and are also used by top brands such as Fender, making them a worldwide standard.

We also paid special attention to the pickups, which are microphones that pick up the string vibrations.
We place great importance on the clarity and clarity of the sound.

This allows the player to hear the performance clearly and intelligibly, and to create a well-balanced sound in an ensemble.

We offer a product that, while not professional stage-ready, is a no-brainer for the beginner.

To be honest, the fretwork is not perfect.
If you want it to be in perfect condition, we can refret it for you.

However, please be assured that there is no problem unless the string height is extremely low.

We do not do secondary distribution (wholesale).
By limiting direct sales from GIB, we pursue maximum quality while keeping prices low.
