Their beautiful guitars have been used by the world's top musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and Pablo.
This model is from the SE line, which offers high quality with excellent quality control while keeping the price lower than before.
This is the CE 24, which was introduced in 1988.
It has the same body shape as the PRS, but with a bolt-on joint instead of a set neck joint, making it a little more Fender-like.
The bolt-on joint gave it a distinct attack that was different from that of the flagship Custom 24 model.
In 2023, the CE 24 was finally introduced in the SE series.
The body back is made of mahogany, the top is made of maple, and beautiful flame maple is used as a veneer.
The three-layer construction of the body gives it the beautiful looks of the higher-end PRS models while keeping costs down, and the maple top and mahogany back give it a realistic sound.
The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The satin finish is rare among PRS guitars, and it has a silky smooth feel and glides well when moving from one position to another.
The front and rear pickups are equipped with 85/15 "S" pickups, which are used in various PRS models.
Based on the 85/15 developed in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of PRS, it produces a clear and modern tone.
The pickups can be coil-tapped by pulling the tone pot.
You can enjoy a fat humbucker sound and a sparkling single coil sound.
The bridge features a PRS-designed tremolo bridge.
This patented bridge is unique to PRS and is characterized by smooth arming and high tuning stability.
It combines the best features of the Stratocaster and Les Paul, the two most popular electric guitars, and is packed with PRS's unique attention to detail.
