Description & Condition
Fender is the undisputed number one brand in Electric Guitars and Basses. They are loved by countless Top Artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released as a high-end alternative to the Precision Bass. Its sharp and clear Sound has been loved by many Bassists, and even today, it maintains overwhelming support and a brilliant presence.
The Custom Shop is a special manufacturing department created to handle Custom Orders.
To meet the demands of Professional Artists and Guitar Dealers, they manufacture superior Guitars and Basses with high technical skills. Its high Quality is highly evaluated by Artists all over the world.
This model is the Custom Classic. It is positioned as the Custom Shop version of models equipped with Active Circuits, such as the American Deluxe.
In the Custom Shop series, this is actually the only 5-string Bass Lineup that exists. The manufacturing year is 2010.
The Body is Ash, and the Fingerboard is Rosewood—a Classic configuration. It tends to have a powerful Sound, combining the Flat characteristics of an Ash Body with the strong Middle Range typical of Rosewood.
The PU is a Hum-canceling type, and the Preamp is an original designed by John Suhr.
It has a very neat and refined Sound, typical of Fender's JB in this style. However, the gutsy playing feel that only Fender can provide is very comfortable and attractive.
The remaining Fret is approximately 80%. The Truss rod status is good. The Neck condition: There is a slight twist and a warp starting from the joint, but it is not a major problem and can be said to be good for a Fender. The Body and paint surface: Scratch marks and Weather Checks can be seen in places. The Electronics are in good condition. No clear modifications were found.
