Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese guitar builder Hiro Miura.
Domestically, its guitars are used by many famous musicians, including Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, and Katsuji Morioka, as well as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton, among others.
The XJ series, a Japanese-made line, has been highly praised, especially by studio workers.
While generally built in Fender style, it has been updated with several modern touches.
This particular guitar is a relatively recent production, manufactured in 2024.
The body features an ash body and a maple fingerboard, classic specifications.
The pickups are Xotic.
The preamp is a Trilogic.
The tuning machines are HIPSHOT Ultralite, and the bridge is an original design similar to that of the HIPSHOT STYLE A.
The sound is refined, with sufficient bass range and pleasant overtones.
It is also extremely playable, making it an overall high-level guitar.
There's always demand, especially among session and studio musicians, for a JB that combines modern playability and preamps with a traditional sound.
However, there aren't many products that meet this demand in terms of quality.
I believe the Xotic XJ is one of the products that best meets that demand.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are occasional scratches on the body and paint.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The locking pin has been replaced with a Jim Dunlop one, and the pin on the horn side has been extended.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
