Description & Condition
Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese guitar builder Hiro Miura.
In Japan, its guitars are used by many famous musicians, including Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of Indigo Jam Unit, and Katsuji Morioka, as well as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton. (Titles omitted)
The XJ series, a Japanese-made line, has been highly praised, especially by studio workers.
While built in the Fender style, it features several modern updates.
The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic combination.
The guitar is finished with a 3-tone sunburst finish, then overlaid with a vintage white finish and then relic-finished.
The finish has peeled off over the years, revealing the sunburst underneath, giving it a truly dignified look.
The pickups are Raw Vintage.
They are handmade in California and are characterized by their clear, crisp, and vibrant output.
The preamp is an original Xotic design.
The sound is refined, with just the right amount of bass and pleasant overtones.
Playability is also excellent, making it an overall high-level instrument.
Session and studio musicians in particular are always in demand for JBs that offer modern playability and preamps while still maintaining a traditional sound.
However, there are not many products that meet this demand in terms of quality.

The body and paint show dents, scratches, and paint peeling, but due to the aging process, it is difficult to determine whether these are later damage.

The warranty period is three months for used items and one year for new items.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
・Failure or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
・Replacement of consumables.
・Failure or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
・Failure or damage caused by handling that violates the instructions in the instruction manual.

- If the name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
