Description & Condition
Spector is a guitar and bass brand that Stuart Spector started in New York in 1974.
Shortly after the brand started, Vinny Fodera, who later founded Fodera Guitars, also worked in Spector's workshop.
The brand's NS model gained explosive popularity worldwide, and was created together with Ned Steinberger.
This model is a modern model based on the NS design, with updates for the modern era.
Among them, the deluxe model is attractive for its elegant look with a zebra top.
The body is alder, the neck is a multi-layer laminate type of maple 3P, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The technique of gluing multiple pieces of wood together to make the neck reduces left-right and individual differences and achieves higher stability.
The PU is a passive EMG, and the preamp is the original TonePump.
The sound output by the powerful electronics is three-dimensional and fat.
It has a wide range, but is characterized by deep nuances.
The remaining frets are about 85%.
The truss rod is in a stiff condition, but it can be confirmed to work at about 90 degrees.
The neck is in a good condition with no significant warping or twisting, and is within the appropriate setting range, and the playability is good.
The body and paint surface have only slight scratches, and are generally in very good condition.
The condition of the electrical system is good.
No obvious modifications were found.
