Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Previously, the Metroline Express was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing shifted to a factory in China.
While keeping the selling price down, high quality is maintained, making it a very unique product in its price range.
Initially, the Metroline Express series did not have the Sadowsky logo, but this has now been changed.
This model incorporates elements of MUSICMAN, which was already available in the German-made lineup.
The body is made of Okume, and the neck and fretboard are made of Roasted Maple.
Roasted Maple is a wood that has been treated at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and oil from within the wood, resulting in high stability.
Originally used as a building material for Finnish saunas, it is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
The pickups are large MM-type dual coils.
The wiring can be switched between series, single, and parallel modes via a switch.
The preamp is original.
It features the familiar 2-band boost type found in Sadowsky products.
While possessing the tight low end and punchy high end characteristic of MM type pickups, the slim body shape and roasted maple body produce a light and responsive feel.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are some dents and scratches on the body and paintwork. One fastener on the backplate is broken, but the plate is still secured.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
