Description & Condition
Sadowsky is a brand founded in New York in 1979 by Roger Sadowsky.
Having worked as a repairman for top session musicians in New York, his basses, born from that experience, are highly regarded as one of the perfect examples of the modern JB bass.
MetroLine is Sadowsky's line of basses, manufactured in a German workshop.
In collaboration with Warwick, it reproduces Sadowsky's quality with high precision.
This is a 2025 ML24 SV5.
It's a 5-string vintage model with a 24-fret single-cutaway body.
The body is made of swamp ash, and the neck and fingerboard are maple.
The lightweight swamp ash body, combined with the bright attack of the maple fingerboard, gives it a clear, punchy sound characteristic of Sadowsky.
The color is 59 Burst Transparent High Polish.
It's an elegant burst color that beautifully showcases the grain of the swamp ash wood.
The single-cut body allows for smooth access up to the 24th fret, a key feature for players who frequently use the higher positions.
The pickups are two passive Sadowsky J/J pickups.
The preamp is Sadowsky's signature 2-band (bass and treble boost) active circuit.
The master tone control functions as a Vintage Tone Control (VTC), allowing for active/passive switching via a push-pull.
It also features a mid-boost switch, greatly expanding the range of tonal possibilities.
The nut width is 48.0mm, and the string spacing at the bridge is 19.0mm.
The overall condition is excellent, making this a great opportunity to acquire a relatively new MetroLine.
Don't miss this chance!
Fret life is approximately 90%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are generally clean. The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
