Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, Metroline guitars were manufactured in Japan, but with Warwick taking over distribution of Sadowsky products, production has moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
The Japanese-made Metroline models were already highly acclaimed, so some were concerned about a decline in quality, but there is no need to worry.
The neck feels a little thinner than the Japanese-made models, and there are also differences in the roundness of the body joint.
The previous Metroline guitars had solid bodies.
However, the new Metroline guitars, like the NYC, have a chambered body.
This makes them significantly lighter, weighing in the 3kg range, a clear advantage.
The excellent electronics produce a powerful sound even with a low string height.
The playability is also excellent, making this a product with great potential overall.
The pickups are said to be different from both the old Metroline and the NYC, but they produce a refined, beautifully designed sound.
It's easy to play without feeling too sharp.
It's a very high-quality, well-put-together masterpiece.
I actually visited the Sadowsky factory in Warwick, Germany, to see where they make their guitars, and I could see the modern, streamlined manufacturing process there.
Seeing the manufacturing process, it's easy to see why it's so high quality.
I recommend it.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paint have some minor scratches, but are generally clean.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
