Sadowsky is a New York high street brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller, Will Lee and Tal Wilkenfeld.
Metro Express was manufactured in Japan and is now discontinued.
The name itself has been taken over and is now made in China.
The basic design of Metro Express when it was made in Japan was handled by Okada International, which has long handled top brands such as Sadowsky NYC and Suhr, and is highly regarded for its high quality.
The hyper-smooth playing comfort is definitely something special, and it is astonishing that this quality is achieved in this price range.
Combined with excellent electronics, the result is worthy of being called a supreme modern jazz bass.
Highly recommended for those looking for an active 4-string JB that's baky and goofy and easy to play while keeping the price down.
The frets are approximately 80% remaining.

The neck is in good condition. There is a black colour transfer near the nut on the grip.
