Rickenbacker is one of the most traditional guitar brands and has a strong support from many musicians.
4003 is positioned as Rickenbacker's flagship model.
The basic specifications are based on the famous 4001, but the hardware, such as the truss rod and pickup, has been updated for modern bassists.
The body and neck are Maple, and the fingerboard is Rosewood, the company's standard.
Equipped with an output jack for Rick O Sound.
There is also a STANDARD output, so it can be used normally.
The biggest appeal of this model is the extremely thick low mid and low density.
The sound is like a bouncy rubber ball, even though it has the mass of an iron ball.
If you like the neck PU sound of great Gibson SG basses or Ken Smith basses, I highly recommend giving this a try.
There is almost no wear on the frets.
The truss rod is a little loose, but we have confirmed that it can rotate at least 90 degrees.
