This model is the U-II Ultimate Compressor, highly regarded as a top-quality bass compressor.

It features a classic opto-comp design using a photocoupler.

This masterpiece is a testament to the careful attention paid to not only the circuitry but also the materials, using vintage wire for the internal wiring.

It runs on a 9V power supply, but the voltage is boosted to 15V internally, providing a comfortable sound without distortion or excessive distortion.

The controls are easy to understand: Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Output Level, and SCEQ (Side Chain High Pass Filter).

The last control, SCEQ, may be a little confusing, but it applies a filter to solve the problem of excessive compression on certain low frequencies.

This is a common problem with bass, so it's nice to have a feature that addresses this issue.

The sound is vibrant, with a strong bass impact and a lustrous high range.

The sound direction is clearly designed, in a good way, and doesn't feel natural. (The compression itself is extremely natural.)

The bypass sound is also designed specifically, and I wouldn't choose it over true bypass.

If you sell your item within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee applies to new items at 50% and used items at 70%.

●Defect Guarantee

All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
