It offers high quality at a low price, and has gained a lot of support due to its high performance.
This model G-PB-45PM is a mix of PB and MM.
The hybrid design that combines the unique tones of both PB and MM styles is appealing.
As for the wood, the neck is Maple and the fingerboard is Rosewood, a standard combination.
The body material is officially spec'd as Alder or Basswood, but it is difficult to be sure.
The neck PU has been made passive, and a series-parallel switch has been added to switch the series-parallel neck PU.
The pickups have been replaced with SEYMOUR DUNCAN SPB-3 and SMB-4D.
