Description & Condition
Gibson is the king of the guitar world, so to speak, having created many famous instruments.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jimmy Page, Slash, Zakk Wylde, and many others.
The Les Paul model released by Gibson in 1952 was Gibson's first solid guitar and was the signature model of an American guitarist named Les Paul.
The fat tone and long sustain of the Les Paul have been loved by countless artists, and it has graced the music scene in a variety of genres since its introduction.
It is truly a representative model of the electric guitar.
This model is a Les Paul Standard 60s made in 2021.
It is modeled after the Les Paul Standard manufactured in 1960.
The body top is made of AA grade figured maple.
It is not a flashy tiger grain, but the fine flamed grain gives a very elegant impression.
The body back is Mahogany.
The weight relief has been eliminated, and it is back to solid body like vintage models and Custom Shop models.
This gives it a tighter and thicker sound than the models with weight relief.
The change in sound, of course, but the fact that the specs are now the same as the higher-end models is a particularly welcome change.
The neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard is Rosewood, a traditional combination.
This model has a slimmer and thinner neck shape than most Les Pauls.
This is a characteristic of the 60s style and enables smooth fingering.
Pickups are Burstbucker 61 on the neck and bridge.
It is a reproduction of a late 1960s PAF, which outputs a clear and powerful sound while having low noise.
The pegs are Grover rotomatic type, the knobs are gold metal hat type, the bridge is ABR without wire, and the aluminum tailpiece is used, showing the attention to hardware.
How about this opportunity?
There are approximately 80% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition with minor scratches and dings. There are scratches on the neck and a sticker mark on the back of the head.
There are weather checks on the top of the body and head.
We could not determine if it is due to aging or if it was processed later.
