Description & Condition
Description & Condition
G&L is known as the third brand created by Leo Fender after Fender and Musicman.
Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) and Murphy Karges (Sugar Ray) are famous bassists who use their basses.
This is an L2000 from the 3-point joint era.
It will be appreciated as a vintage bass in the future. It is a masterpiece.
Maybe it's because of its age, or maybe it's because something was good at that time, but the quick response and deep tone are hard to be replaced.
It has many of the elements that make vintage Fenders so desirable.
The body is Ash, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Maple, typical G&L specs.
There is a JAN 4 1991 stamp on the neck end.
There are approximately 60% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition. It is currently playable at 2.3 to 2.8mm above 12F without any problems.
The condition of the body and painted surface shows scattered dents and scratches. White speckled stains remain.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modification points were found.
