Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has garnered overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan and has recently begun to make a name for itself overseas.

Originally acclaimed for its repair work, the workshop now focuses on manufacturing. Their work is beloved by many musicians for its high quality and rational design sense.

All of the brand's basses are manufactured in Tokyo.
The wood used is carefully selected through strict quality control, and any wood that does not meet the standards is not used in their products.

It is precisely because they are a small workshop that this level of quality control is possible.
In this sense, too, the quality of their instruments is fundamentally different from that of instruments made in large factories.

This is the Blowzer, an original-design P bass.

The body has a classic alder body and Indian rosewood fingerboard.
The color is The Monsters Merman, and the finish is lacquer.

The bridge is the original Brace Tone Bass Bridge.

The brand's original stainless steel frets are used.
This is a warm type that retains the benefits of stainless steel, which is not too hard and does not lose its shine.

As you can see from the looks and specifications, it incorporates modern elements in key areas.

The basic sound is similar to a P bass, but is speedier and more powerful.
It has an excellent balance, with a clear sense of sharpness in the high range and no lack of bass.

It also makes a great PJ bass, with no unpleasant out-of-phase sound and an impression of added crispness while retaining a solid thickness.
