Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Fodera is one of the most popular high-end bass brands in the world.
Founder Vinny Fodera started his career as a teenager.
After working at top studios such as Spector and Ken Smith, he founded Fodera Guitars in 1983.
The world's top bass players such as Victor Wooten, Richard Bona, and Anthony Jackson use their products. (Title omitted)
This is an MG Shape 5-string bass that is based on Fodera's signature style, Imperial, and features a compact shape that enhances playability.
Manufactured in 2014.
There is a stamp "I53846NG MAY 07 2014" under the bridge.
The body uses Buckeye Burl on the top and is incorporated with a combination of Walnut and Alder.
Birdseye Maple fingerboard laminate neck is neck-through jointed.
It has a breathtakingly beautiful finish that is typical of the same brand.
The pickup is a Seymour Duncan dual coil, and the preamp is an original Fodera.
Since the bridge PU was found to be defective, I replaced it with a Fodera Duncan DC 19mm 5st Bridge at GIB. The balancer works in the opposite direction. (Bridge PU when turned towards the neck)
It's very easy to play, and it goes without saying that the ultra-smooth, clear, and straight sound that Fodera is known for is the best.
At the same time, the beauty of its form is also very appealing.
Both in sound and appearance, you can feel that Fodera's aesthetic sense is at work here.
One that will move you when you actually see it.
Please come and see it for yourself.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works well.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and painted surface shows some small dents and scratches. The shaft of the master volume knob will move up and down slightly. (Currently there are no problems.)
The electrical system is in good condition.
