Description & Condition
Fodera is one of the world's most popular high-end bass guitar brands.
Founder Vinny Fodera began his career as a teenager.
After working at prestigious workshops such as Spector and Ken Smith, he founded Fodera Guitars in 1983.
Their instruments are beloved by the world's top bass players, including Victor Wooten, Richard Bona, and Anthony Jackson. (Titles omitted)
This is the Emperor, a relatively classic Fodera model.
With a double-cut body, its familiar shape has earned it a reputation among bassists.
This model is special, featuring a rare ivory wood top.
This is a very recent example, manufactured in 2024.
As mentioned above, the body top is ivory wood, and the back is alder.
The clear satin finish allows you to experience the warmth of the wood.
Ivory wood has a graceful and beautiful grain.
It's fascinating.
The neck is maple and the fingerboard is Indian rosewood.
Even though it uses a top material, the overall construction gives a traditional impression.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan dual-coil pickups, and the preamp is an original Fodera design.
It's a combination that has received high praise from users.
Its smooth, yet powerful and resilient sound matches any ensemble, making it a truly all-purpose guitar.
The latest from a high-end bass brand, this is one you should definitely try out.
I recommend it.
Approximately 85% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are several dents on the body and finish.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
