Fodera is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and recognizable high-end bass brands in the world.
Founder Vinny Fodera began his career as a teenager. After honing his craft at legendary workshops such as Spector and Ken Smith, he established Fodera Guitars in 1983.
Today, some of the world's greatest bassists—including Victor Wooten, Richard Bona, and Anthony Jackson—choose Fodera instruments as their basses of choice.
This instrument is the Imperial, one of Fodera's signature body styles, and the signature model of Anthony Jackson.
It features a neck-through, single-cut construction that immediately gives it the unmistakable appearance of a true Fodera.
The body features a Maple Burl top over a Walnut back and appears to utilize a semi-hollow construction.
Based on its appearance, the fingerboard is Rosewood, while the neck is a laminated combination of Maple and Bubinga.
The pickups are Fodera units designed by Duncan, paired with the original HAZ preamp.
The playing feel is exceptionally smooth, while the sound delivers the effortless clarity and direct response that have become hallmarks of the Fodera name.

At the owner's request, the strings have been left in the condition they were received, and have not been replaced by our shop.
Approximately 90% of the fret life remains.

On Personal Preference: Finding the perfect bass is a personal journey. If the instrument you receive isn't the right fit for your hands or your sound, you are welcome to return it. In this case, we will refund the full purchase price of the item; we simply ask that you cover the return shipping costs.
