Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

Fender is loved by countless top artists such as James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, Michael League, and many more.

The Precision Bass was the world's first solid electric bass with frets, and it quickly attracted bassists from all over the world.
More than half a century has passed since its birth, and it is still loved as much as ever.

This is a Precision bass manufactured in 1972.
We have made a comprehensive judgment based on the serial, stamp, and specs.

There is a mook book called "Vintage Guitar Guide Series Fender Vintage Bass Guide".

This bass weighs only 3.76kg, which is very lightweight, and being from the early 1970's, it is a perfect fit for any purpose, and I think this bass meets the demand for practicality while keeping the price low.

The body is alder, judging from its appearance and weight.
The neck is one-piece maple. The neck is one-piece maple.

Fingerboard end is stamped "AUG72B".
K.KRAUSFELDT" is stamped on the back of the neck.

K.KRAUSFELDT" seems to be the name of a staff member who worked on this guitar from 1964 to 1974.

The tuners are original, the bridge is basically original, and the first string saddle appears to have been replaced.

I hope you understand that these are only judgments based on the appearance of the size and color of the screws, and not what can be determined from the engraving, etc. (although we are checking to be sure)

The pickups are gray bobbin, stamped 9352 and 6352 on the back.
Both are believed to be made in 1972.

The sound is truly PB royalty.
Feels more like the 1960s than the 1970s.

Warm sound and comfortable to play.
You can feel the vintage sound.

Only about 80% frets left.
The truss rod is in good condition.
Neck is in good condition.

There are some paint peeling and dents around the neck.
The nut has been replaced. The paint flaking starts near the frets, so it is likely that the neck has been refretted. (The neck is probably in good condition because it has been maintained.)

The overall condition of the body and paint surface shows scattered weather checks, dings, and paint peeling.
One hole for pickup fence mounting has been repaired. One hole for the bridge mounting screw has been repaired.

This is a part that tends to be neglected, but the fact that it has been repaired in detail is a good impression.

The electrical system is in good condition.

The volume pot has been replaced with a recent CTS.
Copper foil tape has been added to the back of the pickguard.

The pots and jacks have been connected later. There is no doubt that this is better.

The condenser is Circle D and is believed to be original.

The pickups on the 1st and 2nd string side appear to be original, both bobbin and coil.
The bobbin on the 3rd and 4th string side is original, but the coils have been rewound judging by the glossy condition of the coils.

The pickguard has been replaced with one from WD Enterprises.
All bridge mounting screws have been replaced with new ones.

The short length of the octave screw on the first string indicates that the screw, or possibly the saddle as well, has been replaced.

GIB's craftsmen will adjust them to make them easy to play before delivery.

Weight: 3.760kg
Fret: 80% remaining
Truss rod: good working
There are some peeling paint and dents here and there. Since the paint film is starting to peel off near the frets, we think there is a high possibility that it has been refretted.
control: volume, tone
One pilot hole for installing the pickup fence has been repaired. One pilot hole for installing the bridge mounting screw has been repaired.
The volume pot has been replaced with a CTS in recent years. Copper foil tape has been added to the back of the pickguard. The capacitors are Circle D and appear to be original. The bobbin on the 3rd and 4th period sides is original, but judging from the shine of the coil, it has been rewinded.

All bridge mounting screws have been replaced with new ones. Since the length of the first string's octave screw is short, it is possible that the screw or the saddle may have been replaced as well.
