Fender is the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It is loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it still has an overwhelming support and shining presence to this day.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1981.

As shown in the images, we made a comprehensive judgment based on the serial number, pot date, and PU stamps.

The body is ash and the fingerboard is maple, giving it a 70s-like configuration.

The nut appears to have been replaced, but the rest of the guitar is likely original.

A back panel and recess have been added, making it easy to install a preamp later.

Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but it can be operated at about 90°.
The neck is in a high-rise condition, which may cause choking depending on how you play. The strings are currently set to 2.5mm to 2.0mm high and there are no problems.
The body and painted surface have noticeable scratches and reactions on the painted surface, but there is no major damage to the wood, so there are no problems with the performance and it can be said to be in player's condition.
The condition of the electrical system is good.
The back panel and battery box have been recessed, and a side jack has been added, but it is currently a dummy. The nut has also been replaced.
