The Jazz Bass was released as the upgraded model to the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound has been cherished by countless bassists, maintaining overwhelming popularity to this day and radiating a brilliant presence.
This is a 1973 Jazz Bass.
As shown in the images, this determination is based on a comprehensive assessment of the serial number, pot dates, and other factors.
It features popular specs: an Alder body and Rosewood fingerboard.
The pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SJB-1.
It delivers powerful low end and rich midrange tones.
All pot dates read “1377310,” confirming its 1973 manufacture.
The tuning machines and bridge appear to be original.
Although the pickup is replaced, this is a relatively high-originality specimen.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows slight bowing upward, but it plays perfectly fine with our standard string height setup: G string 2.5mm to E string 3.0mm.
The body and finish exhibit numerous paint chips and dents, giving it a distinctly vintage look.
The electronics are in good working order.
