More than half a century after its birth, its brilliance is still as beloved as ever.
Fender Japan started in the 80s as Fender made in Japan, but unfortunately has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
This is the higher-end PB70-70US model.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Rosewood.
Of course, the PU is a US PU.
There are many modifications.
Capacitors have been replaced with Non-Inductive Vitamin Q.
Pot replaced with CTS.
Jacks replaced with Switchcraft jacks.
Electrokinetic paint applied to the cavity.
Bridge replaced with BADASS BASS II.
Knobs replaced
This is a very attractive piece, with the fat, bouncy nuances of a P Bass.
The remaining frets are approximately 70%.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paintwork shows signs of having been played a lot. (It seems more likely that this is an intentional relic process.)
