Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
Fender is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today, it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This component bass combines a 62 American Vintage body and a 75 American Vintage neck.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Maple.
This in itself is a standard.
The neck pocket is marked “APR 18 1999” and the neck end is marked “AUG 29 2006”.
The sound was surprisingly great, despite the strange looks.
The low end is strong and full, with plenty of overtones, and the response when strong string vibrations are applied is very vintage-like.
The special components give it a strange look, but the result is a very nice bass.
Very little fret wear.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paint surface are in good condition with scattered dings and scratches. Some areas have faded to yellow.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Tuners have been replaced with GOTOH FB30.
