Fender is undoubtedly the number one brand for electric guitars and basses.

It's beloved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)

The Precision Bass debuted in 1951 as the world's first fretted solid-state electric bass and has been beloved by bassists worldwide for over half a century.

Fender Japan launched in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender brand, but unfortunately has since been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.

However, the brand's quality remains highly sought after and highly sought after by many artists.

This particular instrument is believed to be a PB62-98 manufactured in 1982.

The neck end is signed 10/7/82.

There's an A stamp on the neck pocket.

The original ""MADE IN JAPAN"" decal on the headstock appears to have been crushed.

The serial number is engraved on the joint plate, but the date is unknown as it was replaced.

The finish appears to be lacquer-like.
The neck pickup is thought to be the original gray bobbin from that time.

Based on the above, it is highly likely to be a PB62-98.
This is the top-of-the-line model from Fender Japan's first year.

The body is alder and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic specification.

The pickups are the original gray bobbin for the neck and red bobbin for the bridge.

Red bobbins are a somewhat rare feature found on high-end American Vintage Fender Japan models from 1982-1984.

The rich low range and open midrange are characteristic of a Precision Bass, adding a sharpness similar to that of a jazz bass.

The unchanging standard sound fits in with all genres, including R&B, rock, and pop.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish show signs of use, with scratches, dents, and paint peeling. There are also traces of screw holes for the finger rest, bridge cover, and pickup fence.

The electrical system is in good condition.

A 1983 Fender pickup with a red bobbin has been added to the bridge pickup. The controls have been changed to neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, and master tone. The neck pickup volume and bridge pickup volume pots and capacitors have been replaced. An aluminum plate has been installed between the pickguard and body to reduce noise. The joint plate has been replaced.

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, a fee will be charged for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, moving, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or is lost.
