Fender is an American brand founded in 1946 by Leo Fender.
It's the brand that created the electric bass guitar itself, and its Precision Bass and Jazz Bass remain global standards.
The American Ultra II is the top-of-the-line series in Fender's USA-made regular line.
This is a 2024 American Ultra II Jazz Bass V.
The body is made of Select Alder, and the neck and fingerboard are made of Quartersawn Maple.
The use of quartersawn maple enhances neck stability.
The neck has a Modern D shape.
The back of the neck has a smooth satin finish, and the fingerboard radius is a compound radius of 10"" to 14"".
The body edges are rounded, and the neck heel is tapered, allowing for comfortable playing even in the higher positions.
It is equipped with two Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups.
While maintaining a vintage-like character, it suppresses noise.
The preamp is an 18V-powered 3-band active EQ.
The mid-range frequency can be switched between 325Hz and 750Hz using a mini-switch.
The master volume's S-1 switch allows switching between active and passive modes, and the passive tone works in both modes.
The bridge is HiMass, and you can choose between top-load and string-through-body.
The nut width is 47.6mm, and the string spacing at the bridge is 18.0mm.
