Darkglass Electronics is a bass effector and amplifier brand from Finland.
It has gained worldwide popularity in recent years, and is trusted by many professional bassists who are active at the forefront.
Hyper Luminal is a compression pedal that is an analog model of three legendary compressors.
This is a reprint of the black color edition that was released as a limited edition in 2019.
We don't know when it will be discontinued, so please hurry if you'd like.
Equipped with 3 compression modes: BUS, FET, and SYM.
・BUS: A mode modeled after Solid State Logic®'s Bus Compressor.
-FET: A mode inspired by the legendary 1176® compressor.
・SYM: Darkglass Super Symmetry mode.
The analog circuit is controlled digitally, and the ratio and compression mode are switched using a touch sensor. It also supports more detailed barometer editing using a PC.

Blend
Controls the mix balance of dry signal and effect signal. Unlike the Darkglass distortion pedal, this control is placed before the output. Therefore, you can also use Hyper Luminal as a transparent booster by minimizing this control.
Time
Set attack and release times. By connecting with Darkglass Suite, you can make fine adjustments and customize settings. It is also possible to assign different actions to each mode.
Output
Set the output level of Hyper Luminal.
Compression
Set the amount of compression. This control also affects internal gain.
Ratio
Set the compression ratio.
Mode
Select the mode from three types: BUS, FET, and SYM.
USB
A connector for connecting a micro USB B type cable between Hyper Luminal and a PC/Mac. You can update various parameters and firmware using Darkglass Suite.
There are small scratches on the surface and there is a feeling of use. It works fine.
