Description & Condition
| Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano. It is a subsidiary of Divider, which owns the large Asuka Factory, a guitar factory. The high quality possible only because the factory itself produces its guitars is highly regarded by many musicians. This model is a WOODLINE model in the Japan Tune-up series, a new series created with the aim of achieving high quality. The Japan Tune-up series is manufactured overseas, with nut adjustment and fret filing performed domestically. This allows for high quality while keeping prices low, and aims to rival the top quality Japanese-made guitars in every aspect. I actually saw the work being done in Divider's workshop in Nagano, and the careful finishing of each guitar is no different from that of the top-of-the-line HANDMADE series. The WL4 itself is already a popular model, and its high quality is highly regarded. This model is based on the WL4, with a beautiful Burl Poplar body top and an elegant faded finish. The color is called Keiryu Blue Burst Satin. It's a typically Japanese name. The looks are as beautiful as they come. The circuit is simply passive, but it features a Turbo Switch that switches the pickup arrangement to series by pulling up the tone. It makes it easy to create a powerful sound with a stronger mid-range presence. It has the super-smooth playing feel that you'd expect from a Baacchus, and the sound is also smooth. It produces a powerful sound while still maintaining a smooth response. It's comfortable to play, and you'll want to play this instrument for long periods of time. Approximately 70% of the frets remain. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. The body and paint have some minor scratches, but are generally clean. The electrical system is in good condition. No obvious modifications were found. Controls: Neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, master tone (push/pull - parallel/series) Nut width: 38.0mm Bridge string spacing: 19.0mm Scale: 34" Year of manufacture: Unknown Country of manufacture: Indonesia This instrument is set up using SIT strings, favored by many professional artists.
