AV BASSES is a high-end Czech brand that attracted a lot of attention when Jamiroquai bassist Paul Turner started using them.

The brand was founded in the 1990s by professional bassist Ales Vychodil.

At the time, major instrument manufacturers supplied numerous basses to the market, but none met his specific requirements.

To satisfy his own needs, he began crafting custom basses himself.

In the 2000s, the brand began OEM production for Western boutique brands, and its high level of manufacturing technology has earned it high praise from many bass builders.

This model is a 6-string fretless bass with an elegant semi-hollow body.

The body is constructed of high-grade quilted maple, alder, and ash.

The neck features a beautiful ebony fingerboard and is set-jointed.

The pickups are EMG 45Ps (an old pair apparently stockpiled in 1995) and a piezo pickup.

The preamp uses the brand's original 3-band EQ type.

The sound is deep, somewhat sparkling, and sweet.
Combined with the beautiful nuances unique to a fretless bass, it's almost like a singing voice.

Although these specs are quite basic, you'll immediately realize the special value of this bass when you play it.

The body and paint show occasional dents on the body end and headtop.

There were problems with the treble/bass pots and piezo pickup preamp, so they were replaced by GIB.
The back panel and battery box have also been replaced.

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

- Please present your signed warranty card.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.

●Defect Guarantee

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
