뮤직맨은 레오 펜더의 세컨드 브랜드로 출발해 혁신적인 디자인으로 많은 뮤지션들을 사로잡았습니다.
Stingray Bass는 브랜드의 가장 유명한 모델 중 하나입니다.
Lewis Johnson과 Flea를 포함한 많은 예술가들이 Stingray Bass를 사랑했습니다.
Music Man이 Erni Ball에 인수되기 전과 이후 Stingray 베이스의 사양이 달랐고, 인수 전 모델은 Pre Ernie 베이스로 특별 대우를 받았습니다.
Stingray는 1976년에 출시되었으며 사양은 대략 1980년에 변경되었습니다.
이 특별한 작품은 1979년에 제작되었으며 최초의 작품 중 하나라고 할 수 있습니다.
주요 특징은 윤곽이 없는 바디, 3-knob 회로, 3-point 조인트, back-through 브릿지입니다.
프리앰프가 포함된 4노브 시대 모델보다 더 나무 같고 로파이적인 사운드를 제공합니다.
그러나 이는 단지 비교일 뿐이며, 프리앰프로 부스트하면 그 자체로 바삭바삭하고 강력한 소리를 낼 수 있습니다.
넥은 메이플 소재로 라미네이션 없이 일체형으로 아름답게 제작되었습니다.
