JIENIE BASSES is a custom bass brand that started in 2023.
With the JB motif, we specialize in modern designs that are based on the premise of creating multi-string basses.
When placing a custom order, you can choose from multiple neck sizes, head sizes, scales, etc., and we will pursue and realize the sound that the user is looking for in detail.
This is the second bass made as a prototype.
The body is Alder, the fingerboard is Rosewood, and the neck is Maple, which is an orthodox wood composition.
It is very lightweight, but it is solid, not chambered.
This is achieved simply by selecting lightweight wood and lightweight hardware.
The bridge is HIPSHOT Style B Aluminum, and the tuning machine is HIPSHOT Ultralite.
The PU is a custom single coil ordered from Delano.
This custom order was made with the aim of ensuring the optimal pole piece arrangement for the string pitch and the high-frequency range without increasing the number of windings too much.
The preamp is the original JIENIE Custom Preamp.
It only has a 2-band boost, and as you boost it, the 500Hz range feels relatively quiet.
This creates a beautiful and powerful sound without any unnecessary midrange.
There are 21 frets, and the body shape is vintage style.
The scale is 34.5 inches, the head size is small, and the neck shape is medium.
These can be selected in detail with JIENIE BASSES.
The scale is 34, 34.5, 35 inches, the head size is small, medium, large, and the neck shape is thin, medium, fat.
The longer the scale, the stronger the fundamental tone, and the shorter the scale, the stronger the overtones.
The smaller the head size, the tighter the sound, and the larger the head size, the more generous the sound.
The smaller the neck shape, the more dynamic and overtones it has, and the larger it is, the more refined and tight the sound.
Lacquer is used for the paint.
It has a thin finish.
The string pitch is 18mm.
The high-quality fretwork and smooth body shape make it easy to play, the low B string has a strong presence, and the G string is rich in overtones.
This is a guitar that has legitimately evolved the JB into a modern instrument.

Custom orders are also accepted, and the price is 600,000 yen (excluding tax).
There is no upcharge.
This is a prototype and has been tried out by musicians.
Please note that there may be minor scratches.
The GIB craftsman will adjust it to make it easier to play before delivering it to you.

● Maintenance is free forever
For instruments purchased at our store, you can use the ""string vibration setup"" (normally 4,400 yen) free of charge forever. (Reservation required)
- Please present a warranty card with your name written on it.
- Only the person who purchased the product at a GIB or TONIQ physical store or online shop is eligible.
- Please bear all expenses such as shipping costs.
● Repurchase price guarantee
If you sell the product within 6 months of purchase, we will guarantee the purchase price. The price is 50% for new products and 70% for used products.
● Defect guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some products such as consignment products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be made if this is not possible).
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that in the following cases, a fee will be charged even during the warranty period.
- In the case of malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- When replacing consumables.
