Rickenbacker is one of the most traditional guitar brands, with a strong following among many musicians.
The 4003 is Rickenbacker's flagship model.
While its basic specifications are based on the 4001, it has been updated for modern bassists, primarily with hardware such as the truss rod and pickups.
The body and neck are maple, and the fingerboard has a gloss finish, a standard feature for the brand.
The single double-action truss rod, newly designed bridge, and slimmer neck give it a more modern update.
The greatest appeal of this model is its extremely thick low-mids, dense lows, and sharp, metallic attack.
Its sound has the mass of a wrecking ball.
An iconic guitar that has continued to play a key role in heavy rock ensembles.

● Lifetime Free Maintenance
Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free "string vibration setup" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
- Please present a signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online shop is eligible.
- Please be aware that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your instrument within six months of purchase, we will guarantee a full repurchase price. This guarantee applies to 50% of the purchase price for new instruments and 70% of the purchase price for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for the following cases:
- Breakdown or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Breakdown or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Breakdown or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Breakdown or damage to parts repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
- If the name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or is lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
